Scholarships Available From the Rural Food Center to Attend PSA Grower Trainings

The Rural Center through the Rural Food Business Assistance Project is offering scholarships for current and aspiring entrepreneurs that are farmers, value-added processors, and food service businesses to attend the Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) Grower trainings in NC.

The Rural Food Business Assistance Project focuses on three rural North Carolina regions:
  • Western Region: Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain counties.
  • Sandhills Region: Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland counties.
  • Upper Coastal Plain Region: Edgecombe, Halifax, Nash, Northampton and Wilson counties.

After applying for a scholarship, please wait until you have confirmed via email that you have received the scholarship before registering for the PSA Grower Training.
