Best practices for Small Produce Farms during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Join the NC State Extension Produce Safety Team for an online workshop on Friday, April 3, 2020, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. to discuss practices that small produce farms can use in this time when local, fresh produce is in great demand!
We will discuss practices used in the produce industry, recommendations from the CDC and FDA that seek to keep you and your employees healthy.
We will provide an overview of COVID-19, practices you and your employees can implement right away and outline the differences between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection and when these are appropriate at a farm.
