About the Training
This is a two-day training course for growers on the Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) standardized curriculum that meets the regulatory requirements of the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule. We encourage anyone working in the produce industry and all farmers (large and small) to attend this class.

Before you register, please realize that only participants who have attended all the sessions, actively participated in the activities and complete evaluations will receive a certificate for this class.

A Produce Safety Alliance manual will be mailed to each participant upon registration. It is mandatory to have the manual at all times during the training. Therefore, we will not accept late registrations. Make sure the mailing address you provide during the registration process is accurate as we will be mailing PSA manuals to the address you provide.
We will be using Zoom to conduct this class, the links to join the class will be emailed to the participant after he or she registers. If you are not familiar with Zoom, we have scheduled a session to learn how to log in or if you need to test the speed of your internet connection on March 22, 2021, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST.
Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive a certificate from the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) by mail to the address provided.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
Cancellation requests should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org processing. The cancellation request must be submitted at least twenty-one (21) days before the date of the workshop to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests made between twenty (20) days and eight (8) days before the date of the workshop will receive a full refund minus a $10 administrative processing fee. Any cancellation requests made within seven (7) days of the workshop will be ineligible for a refund. Payments made by check will be ineligible for a refund.
Attendee substitutions from within the same company may be made at any time at no cost. Please send an email to email@example.com requesting a substitution.

Rules to Successfully Complete This PSA Training
- Each participant has to be logged in with a camera on at all times in order to receive the certificate of completion. Each participant is expected to participate at all times in the activities and polls conducted during the class.
- Participants must have visual and audio contact through the entire course (e.g., use video conferencing software such as Zoom), with participants visible via webcam and able to unmute their microphones to speak. This means all participants must have functioning video cameras, speakers, and microphones and/or headsets that are used during the entire course. Each participant and trainer will need access to a computer and internet connectivity with sufficient speed and consistency to fully engage. Broadband (>25 Mbps download, >3 Mbps upload) is recommended.
- If you are not familiar with Zoom, we will schedule a session for those that need to learn how to log in or need to test the speed of their internet connection on March 22, 2021, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST.
