The Commissioner’s Food Safety Forum is the event to discuss the future of food safety with the nation’s food safety experts, members and staff of the Congressional delegation, industry leaders, regulators, public health officials, emergency management, and academia.

This year’s forum will expand to cover two important national issues. First, we will learn about national recalls, new technology and strategies to increase traceability. Secondly, we will learn about the processes and procedures to bring innovative biotechnology products to market in an effort to improve the quality of life for many. We will have an expanded discussion on allergens and the emerging public health impact of ticks and other vectors.

Make plans now to attend this year’s forum!

Featured Speakers:

  • Frank Yiannis, Deputy Commissioner for Food Policy and Response, US FDA
  • Dr. Steve Solomon, Director of the Center of Veterinary Medicine, US FDA
